A large-scale study showed that traditional appliances took an average of 36 months, with the longest treatment taking 96 months. Invisalign on the other hand is taking only a year to a year and a half to finish. Of course, there are other methods such as surgery or implants that take only half the time to finish. However, those methods are likely to be more expensive than getting dental appliances or Invisalign.
